Thank you for signing up to my blog.
Most of my time this year so far has been spent working on a commission of a house and garden.
Neil & I were admiring the front gardens of a row of cottages and taking photos with the idea of making a picture of them when the owner came out of the house. She recognised me and said that she had been intending to contact me to do a commission of her house and garden!
She invited us in to see the back garden. Well, it was just so beautiful with masses of flowers and the most spectacular views. Great when a commission and what you are itching to do come together.
Neil & I are now in Australia to see our son and his family for the first time in 2 and a half years – including our new grandson. I have been sitting in the autumn sun sewing the family quilt for him.
All our family have had a hand in making it – including our two granddaughters in London.
Neil and I are not taking part in Dorset Art Weeks as we will be away most of those weeks visiting family in Manchester and Anglesey. However, we are representing Artwey at the artisan day at the Heights Hotel on 14th May 11am-4pm. Hope to see you there.
