Dorset Textile Artist Carol Cruickshank Invited to Exhibit in South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts Open Exhibition
I thought things would quieten down this and next month but again I have been very busy:
South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts Open Exhibition
Last week I was very excited to learn that “Lunch at Quiddles” had been accepted in the prestigious Autumn Open Exhibition at Exeter Castle from 12th to 23rd November. It will mean several trips to Exeter over those dates.
Grange Gallery, Wareham
I called in recently to this lovely gallery to drop off some tiles, coasters, cards and prints. It’s well worth a visit and the coffee was great.
Neil and Carol collaborate on some snowy scenes with found and repurposed materials
This month Neil and I had lots of fun building a few snow scenes for our next exhibition on 3rd November 10.30 to 4.30 pm at Gorwell Farm in Abbotsbury. His table will be looking very Christmassy with the driftwood Christmas trees as well as shelves with hooks and snow scenes. I will be taking a selection of originals, prints, cushions, placemats, calendars, tiles, coasters and cards. No idea how I am going to fit it all on one table, come and see!!!
Exhibition at The Gallery at Symondsbury Estate 9th to 27th November 10.30 to 4.30
I will be taking 2 originals to show in Lyme Bay Arts Autumn Exhibition, Springtime Colmers Hill and one other, not sure which yet.
